My Second Training Camp

Mt. Kenya National Park

I had the privilege to execute a mini training camp over the Easter long weekend. This time the destination was Mt. Kenya National Park. The mini camp was amazing, as I had a chance to do a long run and a couple of S&C sessions. Mt. Kenya National Park is the most amazing location I have run in, the environment, the air, rolling hills, cold :) and wildlife are truly indescribable. Happy to have added run mileage.

This camp also helped me in two ways:

1. Product

I have always toyed with the idea of whether I should launch specific products that solve problems and also still have the elements of style, culture, and function. I have spoken to so many people about this but have always been sceptical about the viability and whether this move is true to the ethos we are pushing. In this camp, I had the time to critically think and decide what products meet this criteria. Excitedly I have set the ball rolling for a range I believe meets the criteria defined by my scepticism :).  save the date - April 20th.

2. Welcome to #SafariNorseman, Kicks Kenya

I also had the time to reflect on the recent onboarding of an amazing partner. I would like to officially welcome Kicks Kenya to our journey. I am extremely grateful that Kicks Kenya has taken the bold step to support a pioneering initiative. We both believe in improving livelihoods by enabling the best version of oneself! Karibu Kicks Kenya.

Overall, I had one of the best run sessions at altitude and found valuable time to make two key decisions. The journey continues. #SafariNorseman
